China in Line and Color

China in Line and Color is a collection of vintage children's book illustrations of China, 1932-1965. Filled with beautiful artwork in pen and ink, watercolor, and pastel, this volume includes illustrations by Kurt Wiese, Lucille Douglass, Helen Sewell, Ninon MacKnight, and Miroslav Sasek. The illustrations bring to life the stories in each book and provide cultural and historical insight into the lives of Chinese people from past generations.
