Child of the Valley is multi-faceted, much like the main character the story portrays. It is perhaps best described as an autobiographical novel.

The Qu'appelle valley is a wonderful, beautiful treasure hidden in the vast south Saskatchewan prairie - the Land of Living Skies. For sure it had a significant impact on shaping me throughout my formative years.
