There are four types of tasks in ''Chess Mate.'' 

I''ve given them names like egg, caterpillar, pupa, and butterfly. I started with four pieces at the beginner/egg level and gradually increased the number of pieces to eight at the expert/butterfly level. I devised 12 challenges for each level, for a total of 48 challenges.
