Catholic Voting and Mortal Sin

Catholic doctrine teaches that if a person dies in a state of mortal sin, then that person will spend eternity in hell. But nearly all Catholics dont know that they can commit a mortal sin simply by voting for a pro-choice candidate, according to the many bishops and Church authorities quoted in this book. These ecclesiastics boldly teach that: 1) there is a specific hierarchy of issues for Catholic voters to consider, 2) abortion is the most important issue for a Catholic voter, and 3) it can be a mortal sin for a Catholic to vote for anyone other than the most anti-abortion, or most electable anti-abortion, candidate in any given election. This is followed by step-by-step instructions on how to evaluate candidates and why Donald Trump, despite his obvious personal-conduct flaws, was, surprisingly, the morally-correct choice for Catholics in 2016 and in 2020.
