Bug Club Pink B In the Garden Guided Reading Card

Go into depth with the accompanying Bug Club text and ask questions that will challenge and grow a children's comprehension skills.

Ask the children to recall all the noises they made in the spoken language session.  Give children the worksheet and ask them to draw a picture of something that makes a noise in the garden.

This could be from the book, or their own idea.  Encourage them to write a word to show what noise is being made.  When they have finished, invite children to tick the box to show whether they like the noise or not.
