Breakvale

When Grayson Ender arrives in the secluded town of Breakvale, West Virginia, he expects nothing more than a few dull years teaching English at the local high school-a means to an end, a way to pay off his student loans. Beneath the town's charming veneer, however, he finds that life there is not as he had imagined.

And then it comes for him. Grayson encounters the Beast of Breakvale, a spectral creature bent on devouring people for the secrets they keep. First, he develops disturbing nightmares and visions, then students from his class go missing. To stop the Beast, Grayson wades deep into the mythos and mystery of a monster plaguing the people of Breakvale, where the town motto is spoken often among its residents: "Truth is Life "
