Brain Tumor

This volume provides up-to-date results of both fundamental and clinical studies covering a broad area of tumour research. The book comprises 46 papers specially selected from the lectures and presentations delivered at the 3rd Japanese Conference on Brain Tumor Research and Therapy. The book is divided into four parts on: a re-evaluation of brain tumour classification and grading; the dynamic aspects of brain tumour cells; molecular neurooncology and its impact on clinical management, and advances in novel therapeutic approaches, including biological response markers (BRM) and gene therapy. Findings are included from Japan, the US and Europe.
