Boy in the Long Grass

Autobiographical fiction, the story of 'Boy'. Take a journey with a young lad from birth, through the years of World War 2, his early boyhood and his transition to the teenage years. Hear his voice as you make this journey with him; the period is the 1940s and early 50s and what one boy experiences on a day to day basis. His trials, of which there are many, his highlights of which there are some, his friends, one in particular, a boy, called Clive, who stands beside him through all his travails. Meet the parents, the neighbours, the good boys and the bad boys, the good girls and the bad girls, the life and the pulse of the street.
