Supergroup Blind Faith was formed from the ashes of Britain’s first supergroup Cream. Eric Clapton and Ginger Baker combing forces with Traffic’s multi-instrumentalist Steve Winwood and Family’s Ric Grech ensured Blind Faith was the most eagerly anticipated band in 1969.  A debut gig at London’s Hyde Park to 100,000 people was indicative of the expectations. Their self-titled album reached number one in both the UK and US and was backed up with a tour of the States. But before fans could blink, that was it! It was all over for Blind Faith. Despite only being around for a matter of months, because of the calibre of the musicians involved, Blind Faith is still talked about today.
