The reflections arising from this work reveal the needs of the citizen, with the intention of elucidating the obscure points regarding the lack of knowledge about the composition and harmfulness of genetically modified products. The consumer, in relation to the supplier, is the vulnerable party in the consumer relationship, and the state, with its constitutional mandate, must act to guarantee parity of arms in legal transactions, providing the necessary conditions for the consumer to express their will free of defects.
