Bill's Moment: a cowboy story

Bill was a visionary.An honest man with good values. Loved his family. His country. His ideals. During the quagmire of the Great Depression, Bill's spirit and hopes for success never waned. He knew he'd find a way to keep his family fed, a roof over their heads.Life was good, if not challenging.But it was unpredictable.Dangerous.Such was the night in May, 1932, when Bill, the happy family man turned cowboy for the weekend, was on his way home from his dude ranch. A financially successful weekend.As fate would have it, Bill didn't arrive home for two and a half days.Thieves, guns.
