Belief in Na Tcha in Macao

This book mainly introduces the origin, daily worship, birthday ceremonies and activities of Na Tcha custom in Macao, focusing on the St. Paul Na Tcha Temple, and explores the cultural connotation of Na Tcha belief in Macao. Na Tcha religious culture originated from Tang and Song Dynasties. There are hundreds of Na Tcha temples in the mainland and Taiwan, and even Chinese settlements such as Thailand and Indonesia have their incense.Na Tcha is an important god in Chinese folk beliefs, and folk custom is an important part of folk culture. It has been appraised as intangible cultural heritage by the Macao government and is declaring to the state as a national intangible cultural heritage.
