Before the Time

Basked in the spring breeze of General Secretary Xi Jinping's speech at the Forum of Art and Literature work, the series of Project of Fine Literary and Art in Yinchuan is going to be published with the strong support of the municipal party committee and government, which is gratifying and congratulatory. This is an event and practical thing in the history of literature and art in Yinchuan as well as a blessing in the artists' life of Yinchuan literary artists. On behalf of the municipal party committee and government, I congratulate here and also express condolences to the editorial board comrades. The series of Project of Fine Literary and Art in Yinchuan is the sequel of Literature Yinjun Series. In 2008, the successful launch of the Literature Yinjun Series prompted the debut of the powerful young and middle-aged writers in Yinchuan City as a literary team, which immediately attracted the attention of the domestic literary community and was reported by media such as China Writers Network. It has been widely recognized and highly praised by the community after the achievements and strength of Yinchuan literary creation team were displayed. On such basis, the Yinchuan City Federation of Literature and Arts has expanded its publication scope to encompass five areas: literature, calligraphy, art, photography, and folk art. A plethora of exceptional works by young and middle-aged literary artists are flourishing in these fields, which have been compiled into a series of books for centralized exhibition. The collective presentation in form of "e;fine literary and arts"e; (5 volumes and 47 books) not only serves as a comprehensive review of Yinchuan's literary arts team, but also provides an integrated and motivational display of literary arts, which provides intellectual sustenance for the creation of a humanistic and bookish Yinchuan.
