Assessment of economic efficiency of information systems and IT projects

The monograph is devoted to the study of economic efficiency of investments in information systems and IT projects in the nine-year formation of the information society. The work systematically takes into account the stages of information society development, derives and maintains ICT efficiency indices, as well as the fundamental basis and classification of types of information systems efficiency. Special attention is paid to the specifics of IT innovations and investments in them, modern methods for assessing the economic efficiency of IT projects, adapting the provisions of the PMBOK body of knowledge, digital modeling methods and justification of the normative labor intensity of development. The structure of the monograph reflects the logic of solving the set tasks and includes four chapters that consistently reveal the theoretical foundations, evaluation methodology, digital modeling and practical application of the developed approach.
