Asia Small and Medium-Sized Enterprise Monitor 2025

This publication reviews the landscape of micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) in 26 countries in Asia and the Pacific. Accompanied by a database, it aims to support policymakers in promoting MSME development and resilience. It highlights how domestic MSME development strategies could strengthen assistance for innovative service-oriented businesses, small manufacturers, and technology-based start-ups to foster steady domestic economic growth. It examines financial and non-financial conditions, considers policy interventions at the country and regional level, and looks at progress since the previous edition of the Monitor.
