A long social novel, its events begin with the first beginnings of the revolution of July 23, 1952, and it tells the story of a rural family, whose fate was linked - as the fate of all of Egypt in those days - to the revolution and its children, and exciting, violent events took place in it, in which the old struggled with the new. Justice with power, love with ambitions...In the midst of events, love stories are born and die, the picture of social change accompanying the revolution becomes clear, and new generations grow, trampling on the old... all the old.
