Approximation Theory

The Conference on Approximation Theory held in Poznan, August 22-26, . 1972, was organized jointly by the Mathematical Institute of the Polish Academy of Sciences and the Institute of Mathematics of the Adam Mickiewicz University. These proceedings contain part of the papers presented during the conference. This volume can be regarded in a sense as a continuation of the Proceedings of the Conference on Constructive Function Theory, Varna 1970, and the Proceedings of the Conference on Constructive Theory of Functions, Budapest 1969. z.
