Anticipating Disaster

The nerd and the ski instructor... I hate being cold, and I'm a disaster at sports, but when my grandmother insists I attend a reunion at a mountain resort, I can't say no. The freezing temperatures and socializing are torment until a hot stranger rescues me from a disastrous ski lesson and promises to teach me himself. There are lots of things I'd like David to teach me, and none of them involve us standing out in the snow. I'm too shy to proposition him, and rumor has it he's straight, but... Would a straight man look at me the way he does? I don't think so, but I'm only here for a week, and an outdoorsy guy like him wouldn't want a nerd like me even if heat flares in his eyes every time he catches me staring. Do I dare take a risk? It's not like I'll see David again. What if-just this once-I could have everything I wanted?
