A general introduction to the main approaches to production management and computer-aided production management (CAPM). The work includes an overview of the main approaches to production management, whilst introducing the reader to the basic concepts behind manufacturing strategy. In addition, the principles of manufacturing control, group technology and the design and implementation of new systems are also considered.
