The outside world is crawling with dangerous, blood-thirsty creatures, that crave for the hunger of human flesh.

The walled city, South Head, is dwindling down to extinction. Teenager, Jessica Windal, is given the chance to leave for a better life in the capital. She leaves with her new friend, Georgia Bankgrove and together they embark on the perilous journey beyond the city''s walls, where every step could certainly be their last.

But the outside world exposes secrets the girls never expected.
