Allie's Adventure on the Wonder

Diagnosed with Auditory Processing Disorder, Allie is continually forced down a rabbit-hole of contradiction and misunderstanding. Whatever Allie reads, sees, or hears can-and does-turn into nonsense, and the time to be "e;curiouser and curiouser"e; about her surroundings is a luxury that the more "e;sensible"e; but less patient people around her seldom allow. But one day, she takes a trip on a ferry called the Wonder and meets a mentally unstable yet wise man named Charlie. It is through her unlikely friendship with this mad character that Allie learns not only to better cope with her condition, but to find the courage to make her way in the real world.
