The story of a young boy growing up in a distressed neighborhood of a coal mining town and how he "e;learned the streets"e; and copes with the reality of the homeless, drug users, dealers, prostitutes, the mentally challenged and the alcoholics who permeate his young life. When he grows up, he finds himself in similar situations and learns there is also a kind side to these people. "e;Alleys, Back Streets, Souls Lost"e; gives us a glimpse into a way of life that very few of us have ever witnessed or even know about. The raw honesty of this world speaks for itself for those who will listen. Cultivated by our pressed upon world, each may build or temper as we are seasoned. Paths vary even as their likeness would seem not to allow. A footprint cannot be repeated. Time and attention may be of little avail. Destiny may be the cruelest of all destinations.
