This volume includes six chapters that details advances in communications and media research. Chapter 1 discusses three key aspects of risk communication: types, methods, and challenges. Chapter 4 explores the mentoring process for the Keroncong De Oemar Bakrie community in the development of the expository documentary film titled "e;Kota Bandung di Waktu Malam"e; which documented the lives of young keroncong musicians in Bandung. Chapter 5 investigates the key characteristics of positive and negative Placebo Effects (PE) present on e-WOM from the perspective of young Jordanian adults. Finally, chapter 6 explores how AI is reshaping communication strategies across various media platforms, from journalism and advertising to content creation and audience engagement.
