This volume includes ten chapters that detail advances in chemistry research. Chapter 1 outlines the synthesis and functions of imines using microfluidic devices and external fields such as light and magnetic fields. Chapter 2 aims to use the Armfield rising film evaporator with single effect (left-hand side of the unit) to determine the mass and energy balances used to concentrate a potassium chloride solution, using the results obtained from the evaporator, both manually and automatically. Chapter 3 systematically investigates "e;cyanide metal complexes"e; as electrochemically and sterically suitable mediators. Chapter 4 develops a method for evaluating the quality of crystals, which establishes a methodology for achieving the goal of creating artificial metalloproteins. The aim of Chapter 5's study is to optimize the redox potential of the metal ion and the binding mode of the complex-laccase and to elucidate the electron transfer pathway between laccase and the 2D cyanide-bridged metal-copper(II) complex. Chapter 6 is a review of recent publications about inorganic chemistry papers of a certain journal's special issue edited by one of the authors (T.A.). Chapter 7 identifies and analyzes the phytochemical compounds present in the different parts of Japanese papaya, particularly the leaves and stems, to better understand its medicinal potential and validate its purported therapeutic effects. The objective of Chapter 8 is to determine the antifungal activity of methanolic extracts of E. tirucalli formulated in polymeric nanoparticles on clinical isolates of Trichophyton rubrum. Chapter 9 provides a comprehensive review of the advancements in chromogenic and fluorogenic chemosensors designed for lethal cyanide ion detection, discussing various sensing mechanisms such as nucleophilic addition and hydrogen bonding interactions that enable selective cyanide recognition. Lastly, Chapter 10 reveals that Z. jujube fruits contain rich bioactive compounds (triterpenic acids and polysaccharides) that are responsible for the medicinal potency.
