On the evening of May 12, 2011, I stood in front of a mirror with a 9mm Smith & Wesson to my head. Live or not live? That WAS the question. At that moment I had every justification to just give up-my ex-wife had moved my only son out of state, my fianc e had just told me she had found someone new, my business of twenty-five years was seemingly on the rocks, and worst of all, my nephew, the son of my youngest brother and business partner-a boy I loved- had shot and killed his mom and buried her in the backyard of the family home.
