A Visual Sculpting Course

This is the second in a series of three thematic visual courses dedicated to the realization of engraved reliefs, in which I will share my long experience as a sculptor and designer with my readers.Through 219 commented pictures I will guide the curious and the passionate reader alike in the realization of a three- quarter-view clay portrait in the 'engraved relief' technique, starting from the photos of a face.The text provides all the information on the type of clay which is most suitable for the realization of the work, the tools to make it, and the advice to bake it. I will also give suggestions about how to take excellent pictures of the subject which you wish to portray.The pictures effectively demonstrate the correct positions and movements of hands and tools to correctly and profitably shape the clay.The course is aimed at those who want to start engaging in the sculptural art of portraiture.
