This book advances tourism economics by integrating various theories of modern economics in a comprehensive analytical framework. It is composed of many models — each emphasizing interactions between tourism and some economic, technological, institutional, structural, or gender variables. Each model can be mathematically integrated with any other model in the book. The book also provides a computational procedure for simulation so that anyone can see dynamics of the system with computers.As part of the author's general economic theory, the book focuses on constructing a theory to explain complexity of tourism dynamics in a single analytical framework with minimum assumptions. It deals with dynamic relations between tourism and other parts of national and international economies.
