A dream of glory

Ahmed Ezz made his cinematic debut in a small scene in a film featuring box office stars and rising stars from the 1990s. This was the beginning of his journey to success, which ultimately placed him at the top of the box office alongside two other stars of his generation: Karim Abdel Aziz and Ahmed El Sakka, amidst the successive rise and fall of other stars. His journey of success includes a large number of works, and the book focuses in its successive chapters on Ahmed Ezz''s films, with television series intertwined in his career. This chapter analyzes Ezz''s filmography across five stages, each with its own characteristics, starting points, and strengths. We will first review them in general terms, then through Ezz''s recollections of those stages and the conversations that took place around them during the preparation sessions for this book.
