A Cat Who Became American

This book is a story of a cat named Kinoko - "My life as a Cat". Kinoko was born and raised in Lisbon, Portugal, migrated to the United States together with his owner, the author, and became an American cat-citizen. The episodes narrate his entire life ventures in both countries- Portugal and America - that included using a "human toilet". The story is adventurous, hilarious, cute, charming, tearful, humorous, moving, and the overall lovable relationship with the owner, Marie Ueda, is well expressed. The texts are illustrated by the author herself, which makes them more adorable and rather enhances the contents.
