Life was complicated. Delilah and Phillip were legally adopting each other as brother and sister after having been pretty much raised by the same two women and having no other family except for friend Jenna's family who had embraced them both. An artist at heart, Delilah's best friend introduces her to Joe and she fell hard for him but just wasn't ready for another relationship. Joe was so attracted to Delilah he would not give up.
