Tumbleweed

Tumbleweed is a non-fiction inspirational memoir written by Lesia Stockall Cartelli who at the age of nine, was trapped in the basement of her grandparents' home when the entire home exploded from a natural gas leak. She endured serious burns as a result but nourished a spirit that now lights up an arena. Her voice comes off the page as she shares openly vulnerable yet inspirational stories of her life. Through faith and choices of our most difficult situations, Cartelli shows us in her own life that good that can come from life's struggles when we choose to transform our pain into something positive. The title, Tumbleweed, comes from Cartelli, while riding her Harley Davidson at 90 miles per hour on an open road, collided with a tumbleweed. The tumbleweed collision taught Lesia that life's struggles and traumatic events may happen but trusting our path will brings us contentment and peace.
