An attempt has, been made in this book to gather all the relevant information related to crop improvement in each fruit crop. Photographs of some important varieties of each fruit crop have been provided chapter wise to make an idea of variety concern so that one can easily recognize it in standing crop. Chapters on 20 fruit crops viz., aonla, bael, banana, ber, citrus, custard apple, date palm, grape, guava, jackfruit, jamun, karonda, litchi, mango, papaya, pineapple, sapota, wood apple, avocado and pomegranate have been included in two parts. It is expected that this book will be helpful not only to the students but also to the teacher sand researchers who are actively engaged in improvement in fruit crops.
