This volume of symposium proceedings is published as an issue of Trends in Biodiversity: Floral, Faunal and Ecological Aspects. This excellent text of 37 chapters provides a broad view of diversity and the importance of different flora and faunal groups in India as well as abroad. The issue also deals with the ecology of different water bodies, western ghats, and parks.
