Tokyo Menghua Record (Sand Painting Color Insert) written by Meng Yuanlao, commented by Li Xiuping, drawn by Xue Yiheng, , is a notebook prose by Meng Yuanlao in the Song Dynasty. It is a work describing the urban style of Kaifeng Prefecture, Tokyo, the capital of the Northern Song Dynasty. Most of the records in the book are the conditions of the capitals of the Northern Song Dynasty during the period from Chongning to Xuanhe of Emperor Huizong of the Song Dynasty. It depicts the daily life scenes of the nobles and common people living in Tokyo during this period. It is an extremely important historical document for studying the urban social life, economics and culture of the Northern Song Dynasty.
