Life in Morteln is many things, but never quiet. After beating back the bandit attack, Pastry and company are now left to handle the aftermath. With increasing money problems, Pas and Casserole start doing the rounds through high society to raise funds for repairs and rebuilding. However, dealing with aristocrats means dealing with political intrigue. Pas's ingenuity has it covered... until new developments intervene.
