This book is the result of the National Social Science Fund''s Western Project, which studies the Miao heroic epic King Yalufrom the perspective of literary anthropology. The book is divided into two parts. The first part is field survey data. It mainly records the author''s in-depth field visits to the circulation of King Yalu, and used the Miao language or international phonetic symbol translation to supplement the existing texts to excavate and rescue other epic texts in various sub-dialects and native languages. The second part is the research part. Based on the language materials of these oral epics, the author studies the cultural appearance of King Yalu from the perspective of cultural anthropology and other disciplines, and provides a scientific analysis reference for the evolution of epics and related historical facts.
