Books containing Sufi terminology and concepts were published over the centuries, and those who captured, classified, and arranged its vocabulary made an effort to monitor and present it, but it was often nothing more than a quotation from what the early Sufis left behind, or a reliable quotation from them, relying on what they wrote in their contemplations, emotions, waves of emotions, and inspirations. The author contemplated many Sufi terms, and presented his personal taste and reflection, to clarify the ambiguities that surround some of them through four methods: narration, dialogue, the presence of the image, and the flow of the language, guiding us through conditions, positions, ranks, virtues, values, means, and meanings. This book is an attempt to add a new foundation to the building of sublime Islamic Sufism, which has been subjected to successive calamities, storms, and discouraging and frustrating measures that wanted it to collapse, but it remained steadfast in the face of extremism and superstition.
