Self-Management in Roles

Auf allen Ebenen kirchlicher Organisation stehen Ordinierte in Dienstvorgesetztenverhältnissen zu Mitarbeitenden. Zugleich sind sie zum Dienst der Seelsorge berufen. Die Wahrnehmung beider Rollen bedarf eines professionellen und sensiblen Umgangs, um beidem durch Klarheit und Transparenz gerecht zu werden. Es braucht ein "Selbstmanagement der Rollen".Die Rollenspannung wird anhand von Fallbeispielen aus der pfarramtlichen Praxis aus pastoraltheologischer, pastoralpsychologischer, rollentheoretischer und organisationskultureller Perspektive näher analysiert. Es werden Lösungsstrategien auf der Selbststeuerungsebene, auf der supportiven Ebene, auf der Ebene der Personalführung, auf der strukturellen Leitungsebene und auf der Ebene eines integrativen Führungsmodells angeboten.Im Anhang werden kirchenrechtliche Bestimmungen zum Verhältnis zwischen Dienstvorgesetztenverhältnis und Seelsorge skizziert.[Self-Management in Roles. At the same time, they are called to the service of pastoral care. Exercising both roles requires a professional and sensitive approach in order to do justice to both through clarity and transparency. There is need for a "self-management of the roles".The tension of these roles is analyzed in detail on the basis of case studies from pastoral practice from pastoral-theological, pastoral-psychological, role-theoretical and organizational-cultural perspectives. Solution strategies are offered on the level of self-monitoring, on the supportive level, on the personnel management level, on the structural leadership level and on the level of an integrative leadership model.The appendix outlines church law provisions on the relationship between service supervisor and pastoral care.
