Seizure and Overindebtedness in the European Union

This publication provides an overview of the legal practice of seizure and overindebtedness in 12 countries of the European Union in the format of separate country reports.Each country report systematically addresses the following issues:- a description of the law of enforcement and enforceable titles- goods subject to seizure and conservatory methods, with a description of the procedure of seizure- the possible conflict with respect tot seizures by different creditors.Baron Kring's comparative contribution analyzes the similarities and differences between the various European systems.The contributions are written by national experts distinguished in the field of civil procedural law. Contributions are written in either English, French or German, and are followed by summaries in both remaining languages.
