This book is based on World Bank WDI database and WITS database, which can be divided into four parts: overview, trade, investment and cooperation. The economic and social development of the countries along the Belt and Road is analyzed and studied.The overview section mainly introduces the natural conditions of all countries along the Belt and Road, the economic and social development level and the industrial structure.The trade section mainly makes detailed analysis on the trade flows among countries along the Belt and Road, the advantageous industries, the tariff level and the development of trade in services.The investment section mainly analyzes the capital flows of all countries along the Belt and Road, overseas direct investment as well as the investment environment in detail.The cooperation section mainly introduces the major financing modes of infrastructure construction such as transportation, energy, electricity and communications in the countries along the Belt and Road.
