Public Health: Intersection of Health, Humans, Animals and the Environment

In this book, the authors and editors try to examine health from the integrated perspective of humans, animals and the environment to explore human health across selected issues. Content areas engage research, analysis and interpretation of selected topics from the SARS CoV 2 pandemic, social determinants of health, aging and chronic burdens, infectious and zoonotic diseases, food safety, ecology and conservation. The progression of health from a physical, mental and social context is applied within and across each selected topic with emphasis on the challenges and solutions involved.
