Abraham is one of the major characters of the Bible. He is known as a man of faith but there is another side to him that we rarely consider. Although some sceptics deride Abraham he is accepted by, and has relevance for, Arabs, Jews, Christians and Moslems. Four major schools of Religious thought and belief should, therefore, find this book of interest. Abraham was a man who became known as Gods friend. He must not however be thought of as a Super Man for he made mistakes in his life and his mistakes can be used to teach us many things.
