Life in the Homeric Age

Whilst the greatest effort has been made to ensure the quality of this text, due to the historical nature of this content, in some rare cases there may be minor issues with legibility. Still less than the questions of prehistoric archaeology, may we discuss here the so-called Homeric question, as to the manner of the composition of the poems, although the general attitude of the writer must be briefly stated.
