The era of Shakespeare is the era of the Renaissance during its prosperity, and it is the era that they defined from the middle of the fifteenth century to the end of the seventeenth century, and it begins with the conquest of Constantinople and ends at the beginning of the eighteenth century. Because this century begins with another name in the stages of Western culture, and it is called the Age of Enlightenment, which is considered an extension of the Renaissance and is not in fact the end of it. Rather, the names differ to distinguish between the roles of culture in its successive stages.The Europeans call the Renaissance era "the new birth," and they sometimes call it the era of the revival of sciences, but the name Humanism is the most accurate name in distinguishing its purposes and the direction of the Renaissance in it.
