Huge data

The process of collecting and organizing data was an integral part of our lives. Since ancient times and before creating computers, the data was treated and organized all over the world. With the appearance of the computer and the Internet, the data has seen a huge increase and continuous growth. The term "data" includes all the documents we exchange, videos, photos and correspondence of social networks and online shopping, as well as the data provided by the global GPS. With the increase in data volume, the concept of "huge data" appeared as a qualitative transformation, not only quantitative. In this book, the author highlights the huge transformations caused by huge data in corporate operations, medical research and disease control. It deals with several important ethical issues, such as the "Snowden" issue, data safety, ease of penetration of smart home appliances electronically.
