Hitler als Symbolpolitiker

The persona of Hitler is well researched, yet there are still many unanswered questions that need to be raised about the success of the "Corporal from Braunau". The fact that Hitler knew how to lead and that he exercised "charismatic authority", is widely recognised, but little research has been undertaken to date about how Hitler was able to develop into this "charismatic ruler".This work makes clear that actively controlled symbolic communication, associated with Hitler, became a strategy of Nazi rule, which specifically used the asymmetrical and polycratic structures of the state.
