This book deals with the early Greek philosophers, before Socrates, who shaped European, and even global, consciousness. They are the grandfathers and founding fathers of the global edifice of philosophy. It includes an attempt at new reconstruction and interpretation. It is based on: investing in the philosophical text, anticipating the legendary religious context preceding the philosophical text, and reconstructing the philosophical significance. The author here attempts to develop what is called "e;philosophical hermeneutics,"e; and aspires to establish: a new interpretation, alternative to the common Aristotelian interpretation, through a hermeneutic approach that interprets the remaining fragments of the philosophy of the early Greek philosophers. The period of the early Greek philosophers is a foundational period for Greek science and Greek philosophy. Therefore, it is a very important period in the entire history of human thought. If we do not understand this period, which founded contemporary European civilization, properly, we will have overlooked the foundation upon which a specific civilization, which is European civilization, was established, and various civilizations, such as Islamic civilization, were influenced by it. This is a crime that we may commit against consciousness, even unintentionally! We are faced with an important book in the history of Greek philosophy that represents a real addition to the Arab library, with its author possessing new interpretive insights, and a superior ability to delve into the smallest details and unlimited exploration, in an attempt to understand terms and deepen their various connotations to provide the fullest and most complete picture of the statement of the doctrine of this or that philosopher. This is in sober philosophical language and a smooth style.
