Germant

"Hermant" is the work of an extraordinary French writer Marcel Proust (Valentin Louis Georges Eugene Marcel Proust, 1871-1922). The novel "Hermant" - the third part of the cycle "In search of lost time." In this part, Marel Proust reproduces the memories of the lyric hero about his stay at the guests of the Germans, belonging to the cream of French society. The cycle "In search of lost time" includes seven novels: "Towards Svan", "Under the shadow of the girls in bloom", "Hermant", "Sodom and Gomorra", "Captive", "Beaglyanka", "The Time Found" . Marcel Proust depresses that he is surrounded, in the majority, by people cynical, hypocritical, soulless. In the pages of his works he tries to find "lost time" - a time of sincerity, spiritual purity, spiritual perfection. After all, we all lived in this time - in childhood.
