Filmstrips

Whilst the greatest effort has been made to ensure the quality of this text, due to the historical nature of this content, in some rare cases there may be minor issues with legibility. Teacher-made filmstrips can include much of the material presented previously in a more laborious way without diminishing the effectiveness of presentation.<br><br>Any classroom teacher, group leader, or individual can project filmstrips properly. Mechanical details can and should be delegated to a member of the class or group. Although the emphasis on the use of visual aids was originally placed on lightening the teacher's load, the pendulum has swung in recent years and it sometimes seems more difficult to teach with some visual aids than without them. Fortunately, this is not the case with filmstrips. Of course, effective utilization develops with practice, but it is hoped that any reader of this book will see that no special training is needed to use filmstrips well.
