This is the true story of a family, devastated by the loss of their son by suicide, the causes of which are explored by the father, who is trying to make sense of how sexuality, family-relationship issues can cause tragic, unforeseen events. Events are shown kaleidoscopically, moving through Budapest, Manila, Boulder, Colorado, through the beaches of Malibu.
